S. M. Jr college of science Darwha is run by Millat Education Society Darwha Which was established in 1997 at Talegaon Deshmukh , a small village 10 Km away from Darwha Tahsil . This Junior college continued in that village from 1997 to 2000. The college started the science stream in urdu medium . So, the students from different tehsil places reached Talegaon Deshmukh in search of quality education.

They quenched there thirst of education in this college. The college is affiliated to Amravati board Amravati. It is the co -educational institute. Later the college had been moved to Darwha on 1st of July 2000 for creating educational hub. The Society also started science jr. college in English medium. Here college received tremendous response in upcoming years due to quality education that had been provided to the students.

The main aim of the college is to provide value based education with quality to society. The Strength of students increased year by year . The students from nearby rural area came to the college for further studies. The college has an excellent infrastructural building. There is also well qualified teaching staff. Cultural programs are organized on large scale in every year. Such as games and sports moral education, Siratoon Nabi , Naat – e – Pak etc. Coaching classes for NEET & JEE started on regular basis . Which helps to motivate the students towards Medical and Engineering line . The College always focused to enrich students with knowledge, skills and values to make them competent and competitive for the outside world. It also provides conductive teaching learning ambiance with continuous enrichment of infrastructure and learning source.

Many students of this college are Doctors, Engineers, Scientist, Judges, Lawyers, and Pharmacists. Businessmen and are also earning a name in the foreign Countries. The credit for all these successes goes to Muhammad Ilyas sir (President of the Society) Muhammad Noman Nabeel (Secretary & the Principal ) and the teaching staff.
